The General

Default What a nightmare!

I just had a big huge drawing I'd spent hours on open in AutoCAD and I was trying to save it and it kept saying
Code:
Drawing C:\xxx already has a command active.
Hit enter to cancel or [Retry]
Retrying did nothing, and I couldn't even plot it! I had to go read some Autodesk forums to figure it out, and the solution was to close AutoCAD and hit yes when it askes to save on exit.

WTF is that all about?

i ran into this problem a lot when i was running solid works. it would get real touchy on me when i tried to save and open things. i never knew why i just knew that i had to exit it out to save and stuff like that.
