| What to do with the forgotten "hero's" I havn't had the much computer knowlege for very long but when it comes to remembering what OS's I've had it's a no brainer (I spent too many years on old OS's.
When my dad bought out first computer in '94-5? We still have every part except the printer and maybe the keyboard. The only thing is, is that it's not in use heh like we have a use for it...
The OS that we had was Windows 3.11 I still joke about it to a friend of mine who still runs, or just got off of it, about it.
Since then we've cone through 98, 2k and now XP Pro. What I want to know is what does everybody do with their old and now unused OS's?

| What do we do with it? Nothing. If we did, it wouldn't be unused. :freak:

| Format it and forget it. They are obsolete for a reason. I had 3.1, 95, 98, 2000, and now XP Pro. It's amazing the differences. 3.1 wouldn't run for more than a couple hours at best and 95 was not much better. Just prettier. Personally, I prefer 2000. Faster and more stable than any of its predecessors. Faster than XP if you ask me. It has its flaws though, just like they all do.

Normally I charge an extra AU$50 for any one that wants a me to supply an OS with a old computer that I have just scrapped together.
My old man never throws out his computers. Like he still have his
Apple II+ 1984 to 1992
Mac SE30 1989 to 1992
Mac IIsi 1992 to 1995
"Power"PC 1996 (I hated this computer)
G3 Tower (that landed in my house the same day Myr Space fStation fell back to earth)
Like he still want to try to sell off is APPLE II+ with all the software for it, but he wants abut $1000 for it. And I laugh every time brings that up.
