NASA's Voyager 1 has passed into the border region at the edge of the solar system and now is sending back information about this never-before-explored area, say scientists at the University of Maryland.

I vote this Vincenzo's most useful post in history.

That was REALLY Interesting for me, since I'm a hardcore astronomer. Not so much staring at the sky as studying about astronomy, but I like Stargazing too.

I really enjoyed the part about the Heliosphere. I didn't know that :classic: I loved it, nice find.

that's some crazy **** lol....launched in 1977...28 freakin years...the way they described the things going on out there you'd figure that old *** equipment would be getting damaged.

It took like what....10 minutes to get a message from mars didn't it? When the mars rover landed...(I think it was 10 minutes? not at all sure) I wonder how long it takes to get info from that thing
