verizon pay as you go phone

How does the verizon pay as you go phone work? do you use a phone card when you want to talk?

you just dial the #.

The annoying part is that every time you make a call it tells you how many minutes you have for the call.

If the call comes to you there is no warning on how many minutes you have left.

Beware the roaming!! i got a call one day that was about 3 minutes. cost me about $5.00/min because iwas roaming. Grrrr!

now i have a regular cell phone

Go for the pre-paid SLVR its a good phone and you can purchase a phone card to "top-up" every month.

what is roaming? is roaming when you run out of minutes?

Do you have to purchase a phone card each month and if so how much is it?

roaming is when you go out of your providers service area.

No, just somewhere where the company you're signed up for doesn't have a tower.

Go to Wal-Mart...look at the cards...they sell minutes on cards.

whats the difference between the $15.00 card and the $100.00 card?
