Chankama will become famous soon enough

Thumbs down US and segregation

As many of u already know, Rosa Parks recently passed away. So I was just reading her bio in wikipedia.org..

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosa_Parks

Didn't realize how bad segregation was in the US. I can't even imagine what was going through the minds of those people back then - who were "doing" the segregation. This kindda stuff has happened in South Africa until very recently too. It only hurts ones country as well.

Makes for an interesting read. I think all of us owe it to ourselves "and" to these people who were prosecuted, to actually read up about what they accomplished.

That is an interesting read, but be careful not to catch "Liberal Guilt", a serious mental affliction. I have seen it strike before, and it's not pretty.

good read. It was messed up how the government treated African-Americans back then.

Yea it was sad how America treated African-Americans. But that's the past.

Racism will probably die out slowly, but it'll still be around. I guess as the older generation fade out, the new one are more open minded.

Doubt it....I find it hilarious when I hear a 15 year old african american talking about opression, and yes I've seen such a scenario
