Do any of you use torrent sites which you need an invite in order to be a member? Are these actually faster than normal torrent sites where anyone can download stuff?

I use them, and yes they are faster because most of them enforce ratios where you have to upload to keep your membership. That means there are more uploaders, so faster downloads.

I use Demonoid.com, oink.me.uk, tvtorrents.com, and a few others. tvtorrents requires registration, demonoid sometimes has registration but is invite only right now. oink.me.uk is, always has been and always will be invites only.
