Maybe a fast food joint...good luck at getting a job at that age. Its extremely difficult to get one if you are under 18. Maybe you could mow lawns? Or deliver papers?

I am also looking for a job in june when I turn 15. I will be looking at a small family shop (no big chain ones) as they are most likley to need someone who doesn't have to have £5 an hour.

Just write yourself out a resume and pass it into any store that you think you'd have even a longshot of working at. Even if they aren't hiring, when they get to a point of needing help, they'll have your resume on hand and might just give ya a call. Just get yourself out there.

Letters of recomendation also look EXTREMELY good for employers.

Tell you what..... some of you guys really surpise me when I find out your age. It's a case where i am thinking "FAR OUT, you are that old and you have this knowledge."
Some times, you guys really scare the crap out of me when I find out your age. And I mean this is a good way.

If this was not for the fact that :-
1. This is USA based Forum
2. I rather keep the identity of the company i work for a secret for various reasons.
3. Company policy is that minium age for employment on any type here is 18 years old and a Completion Of High School. (So far, I was the youngest one ever hired at 21)
4. Avalable positions.
There are a good few you here on TF that I would be head hunting for various things. Ether permant or contract employment.

Please do not take this post the wrong way. I am complimenting various people here for their age and IT knowledge. There are a few really good computer guru's here.

we're all here to help and learn though harper

i give people credit for trying, because alot of people aren't credited for trying. i don't believe in wrong answers, if you try, because every wrong answer obviously brings you closer to the right one.
thats just my opinion...

(why did i rant about that?) ^^^^

TIPS
- i suggest trying to get a friend to get u a job
- try just 'signing up' never know what will happen
- have few tardies in school. believe it or not but companies do look at if you're tardy every class or not.
