Lightbulb testing those darn click-paying advertisers

Im gonna try not to make this a spam or ad. I wanted to test out something without spending any money. We have all seen sites that pay or give u free stuff for "referring" ppl to click or sign up. i have a cousin that makes a lot of money doin this (the click one) but i didnt quite catch all the details to set it up (cause he really didnt give any). He got my uncle to start but he is dumping money for "paid traffic" and start up packets. I would first ask admin not to scrub this post. second i want to know any other experience with this any of fellow members may have had. third i want to test my reference (forwarded thru a subdomain). Im not looking for a bunch of ppl because im not trying to spam, this is a test. I signed up and when i clicked on a link it took me to google home page(perhaps IP was same fro signup and click). site is [SNIPPED] ..should be listed as my site name. thanks look forward to reading posts and results. thanks again. PS admins please dont kill this post, i listed in this category for a reason,ty

You would think that time after time of getting rejected from spamming, spammers would get smarter.

I guess not.

Well, you weren't successful because this is considered spam. One test to find out if it will be considered spam is to write down how many forums you joined and made this your first post. It's spam.

Secondly, if you want an Admin to approve, PM an Admin like me and ask our rates for advertising.

Thirdly, everyone wants to test their spam links because they make money or get "free" stuff that way. This is no different.

Fourthly, this category is not for spam.

Dave

P.S. The price for spam is really expensive.

oh yeah...umm this is the only forum i have posted on...and i listed under miscellaneous. I just dont want to dump a bunch of money to see if this thing works. If the site im forwarding to actually pays i had a different plan of getting the traffic to the site...and its not posting on forums like a cracker. thanks for your criticism

And by the way...this being the first time i have done this on a forum, i wouldnt have had the opportunity to learn (kostas) and Im not asking HOW to spam (ATIRAGEPRO). I see ur point DMo224, and I really wanted just one(1) different IP to test this (and it being a subdomain wouldnt get any traffic- - reason for test!)

Thanks for your reply. If you had made this post twice on this forum, you wouldn't have had a chance to reply like that. But that didn't happen.

There are better ways to work things like this so it's not considered spam. You could have introduced yourself in the intro forum. You can also place a link in your sig (as long as it meets the sig requirements).

When it's in your sig, don't make a thread saying "look at my sig". You know that would be the same as spam.

Lastly, wording is very important. If you had said that you wanted to test a click-paying advertiser, not listed the url, asked for anyone that would be willing to help, and told them you would PM them the url and what you need from them, it would probably not been considered spam. You could also stated that it wouldn't cost anything, and that you'd be eternally grateful for the help (or however you'd thank them, lol).

I hope that helps. As a matter of fact, I hope this helps anyone that might read this. But, spammers usually don't read anything and just start ...well, spamming.

Dave

I thought since my intentions were not to spam this forum, that it would have been okay. yeah ill be less blatant about my posting. When i have gathered enough info on this thing im working on, i wouldnt/shouldnt have to post anything like this again. In fact ill remove it from the multiple places in my profile. I was quite surprised at the response time, by the way. Thanks.

The header for "no spamming" is on top of the category, I saw it but didnt think it would be considered such because of my intent.

I was also lookin for feedback on experiences with such things. If anyone wants to post anything to that extent
