Default taking a print scree of video?

ok so the prob is that i'm trying to make a sig but i need to take a print screen of a video. the prob happens when i press prntscrn when i paste it to paint the entire windows media player gets prntscrnd, any way to fix ths? it is a non drm file and i am using xp pro and wmp11

cant you just crop out the rest of the image you dont want? Are you running the video in fullscereen mode...i just did it and got it to work for me.

Use VLC player, there is an option to take screenshot.

Fraps can do screenshots as well.

Windows Movie maker can also take screenshots.

k i got it now thx guys , at first i just got a blank screen but i prntscrnd it while not in full screen mode paused the vid and now i got it thx
