Default Re: Swimming pools

Well.... I dropped $76.11 at the pool store Wednesday on Chlorene, a new skimmer head, a brush head, a 6' to 12' telescopic pole, and 2 other brushes........ Got home, and there was about 1 inch or less water in the pool.... I started scrubbing the pool floor with the brush on the pole, and my buddy was using the hose to spray the pool.... After a few minutes, (I didnt even notice, my buddy pointed it out to me), the brush ripped a nice gash through the liner of the pool..... So, now I need to shell out about $400ish to have someone come put a new one in.... I am not going to put a new liner in myself.

you can patch the hole. We bought a patch kit for ours when a hole developed on the area the ladder rests.

Too late.... the liner is already toast because it has been without water for too long.... hole or no hole, it's toast... plus is it terribly disgusting....

That's one thing I do really, really like about our in-ground pool....it's concrete with a fiberglass liner...don't have to worry about ripping it.
