Even in water that is 40 or 50 degress F can't you only survive like a half hour? It seems impossible to me....so I vote death in the poll.

Seen that show deadliest catch? 5min in watter as cold as that and you have hypothermia 7-8min your dead and thats if your lucky.
I predict a Death also.

Normally people that do this sort of swim has some sorts of grease on them that helps keep in the body heat. I have seen it a few times with the people that have the the English Channel Swim.
What's next???? Sydney to New Zealand Swim?

Traditionally it is lard they put on there chest but trying that in artic waters would get you killed.
