Just booked myself some tickets to see Saw VI.
Managed to catch all the previous movies on a opening night.
However after the last 2 movies, this frachise has slide from "Opening Night" to "TIght Arse Tuesday"
I do hope they bring some closure to some of the loose ends that they have been building up since the third movie.
Spoiler for Saw 1 Spioler:
I have given up hope on the fate of Dr Gordon a long time ago. I am going to assumed that he bled to death while trying to escape. And if not that, Amada just bashed him to death. Considering that the actor contract disagreement since the first movie. Some thing along the lines of not getting paid.
Anyways.... I will let you know how this movie goes when I come back.
BTW, even though I am a fan of the Saw Franchise, i am not that much of a die hard fan that I am going to pick up the Saw Video Game. Video games based on movies tend to be teh suck.

Go to the official website and they list the status of all the "victims" so far he is listed as "Unknown Likely dead" and he is the only one to have that status. But a lot of people believe that he has been there helping Jigsaw even though no movie actually shows this. I'm sure you've seen the theories where they say it's him that put the key in the man's eye in the 2nd movie because jigsaw wasn't a surgeo.
I went to see saw 6 last night, wanted to catch midnight release but didn't get to :|
I enjoyed the movie..but I can't say it was my favorite. You could tell the movie was made in a different style (the director was the editor of the last few films). It makes a lot of stuff clear but also leaves a few cliff hangers in preparation for the 7th one :\
Spoiler for Saw 6 :
This film had to much drama type stuff in it. All the others give the back story in later movies while this one gives the back story before anything really happened. When it switched over to the health place I thought the film was messing up and they was accidentally showing a different movie...that's how bad the transition seemed to me :\ If you're a saw fan you'll like this one for sure...but it most likely won't be your favorite. And the only reason why a lot are saying it's the best is because it's changed styles so it isn't even like the rest pretty much
The good....
Big improvement on Saw 4 and 5. Traps and "the game" was better. I did find that "the game" was lacking in Saw 5.
It was also tieing up loose ends from the last 3 movies.
- The note left for Amanda in Saw 3 fully explained. It was not was I what I was expecting.
- The box left for Jill in Saw 5 which was just about every thing for Saw 6.
- The fate of Hoffman after Saw 5. Even Costas Mandylor had no idea if he survived the Saw 5 or not.
And considering that I spent the last 6 weeks getting ****ed around with an insurance company (Car Accident), for some reason this movie did make me feel good. Every time I saw time I saw William and his staff in pain/suffering/dead, I just thought about the people that were assessing my claim 6 weeks ago.
The bad.....
Unless you have been following the series, you will be lost and very confused as they where flashing back to event from the last 3 movies. If you have not been following the Saw Movies, you will be lost with the drama.
They have left things open for Saw VII
Obviously Hoffman and Jill are not going to be friends any time soon.
And there was that package that Jill left in the hospital which was not explained.
While this movie might has not been as good as the first 3, it has been a big improvement on the last 2.
From the looks of it, the writers still have another 2 more films planned. Although I don't see them getting away from the constant flash backs, provided that the game is still creative, I will be still watching this frachise

Never was really impressed with the Saw franchise...only really liked the first movie because it was original IMO.

i haven't seen 4 or 5. I dont know that I want to.
In saw 4, the ending was confusing.
Spoiler for Saw 4:
The movie start off at the end of Saw III where John is dead. However the main events of Saw IV was happening in Parrelle to Saw III as you see Jeff finishing the game.
In saw 5, the ending was just meh.
Spoiler for Saw 5:
Most of the story was focused around Hoffman's past and his connection with Jigsaw. The game was pretty meh.
Sadly, Saw 4 and 5 are speed humps for Saw 6.

I've seen the first 3, and the first one was the only one I really liked. Mainly because it was something new, the rest just keep goring the same dead horse over and over; I'm surprised there's enough of the horse left to make 5 sequels.
