Having lost a sister to natural causes, I can sympathise with the family of the guy.

how is that a wake up call for kids stuck in fantasy world? It's a guy who is a friend who knows nothing of the real reason why the little dumb idiot decided to off himself.

They presume it's depression which would have nothing to do with gaming necessarily. If somewhere in there it says "we found out the reason...someone stole his magical spearhead at Magma Cave" then who really cares?

Sorry if I seem like a coldhearted person but I have no sympathy for little emo kids who think 'Life is too tough' and decide to run away from it all.

I've been depressed, I've wanted to die, and I still faced each coming day regardless and now everything is pretty dang good. I've had multiple people in my family kill themselves for stupid freakin reasons so this is why I really have a passionate hatefullness towards such wusses.

Burn in "heck" you worthless pathetic human. I'm sorry for the parents who have to suffer because his idiotec selfishness.

Regardless whether he did somethign stupid or was wrong, a life was lost and we should show some respect. Here's a link for you:

I used to think the same way as you nubius, until I was doing alot of research, talking to people, reading letters and reading medical stuff.

It's very sad he had to kill himself

Their were most likely other major reason's for this. Not all people are as head strong as I am, and discrimination and not being accepted socially can have major impacts on someone's life.

In my classes I argued for doctor assisted suicide for terminally ill pateints, I really wanted to make a speech on allowing anyone who wanted to commit suicide for any reason the chance to do so, But its not like people can't choose to do it without assistence anyways.

And As Chris Pointed out, you shouldn't judge others and why they do things, your not them, you will never understand them and what they have been through. For him he was doing what he thought was right.

And I believe taking your own life is a right.

If he killed himself because of **** that happened in a video game, then I say good riddance. If it was for other reasons, then I can't really comment because I don't know the kid personally.

I hate WoW.....I've got two friends who are above and beyond that level 60......why do I know? Because those freakin nerds talk about it every time I see them......have they killed themselves? No....so don't give me this "A life was lost, he deserves respect" bs......the fact remains some little 16 year old emo kid "couldn't handle it all" and decided to run away. Screw that.

Only people I feel sorry for is, as I said, his parents who have to deal with that little losers selfishness
