Discussion of the 'anti-war' position is just so abstract, don't you think. I think it would help if instead of engaging in philisophical discussions about war, the tax payer would actually be a party to war, just as they expect their kids to do. So let's all do away with the priveleged luxury of being able to 'debate' war, and actually start looking war right in the face. You can when they're being payed to throw grenades at you.

These kids will kill you. WHen its you or them, your ideals may change. However, if you can't bring youjrself to do that, there is no shame. Just don't put yourself in the situation if you cant do it.

Unfortinatly, I may be called up to perform these so called "war crimes." I just jhave to remember that god will forgive me if I do it for the safety of my fellow mankind.

Don't go into the armed forces. You would be one of those panzy left wing soldiers who would complain because there not getting a 5 Star meal at the end of the day.

I'm not trying to be rude, or abrasive. I come from a family of military men. I have a brother who has served 4 rotations in the Iraq war. I have a good friend who is currently stationed in Afghanistan, and has been there for 5 months. He left his wife, his son, and his daughter behind to go do something that people like you could never do.

Ok, so I am coming across rude, and probably beyond that. I'm so sick of political @ssholes who couldn't dig a 5 foot deep whole if their life depended on it, ranting and raving about this War and how it's all about Oil.

Thats a good point, atleast I think so. And like he said, if you don't think you can do it, then don't go there. If you fail to do what you need to, it might not be only you who pays for it.

She failed to clean her weapon and perform correct weapons correction in battle. Who died, her or her batle buddy?

^^ She's being made out to be a hero, but I've heard A LOT of armed personell who're really ****ed at her because she didn't do everything she was supposed to do.
