| Quick Poll I am writing a report in psychology and have decided to write about patriotism and how it influences behaviour. Someone I know mentioned something interesting about how people, specifically americans, who fly flags outside their homes almost always have at least one gun. I am trying to get a feel for whether or not this is true
This is not a question on gun control or anything of the sort, it is simply an investigation as to how people behave based on pride toward ones country

| Yes I have a flag, and our family owns a couple of firearms for target shooting, clay pigeons, and bomb targets and such...
Interesting topic....wonder what the final results will look like.

| Fly a flag but have no real guns. I own a paintball gun and an airsoft gun so I voted fly a flag but don't own any guns.

| Um. Is the gun only counted if it is used as self protection, or does it count for hunting as well?

| nope, just whether or not you own a gun...doesn't even really matter if it's just on display or whatever, simply whether you have one...or not

| Well my step-dad has a Colt M1911 and we used to have a US flag outside before it got too tore up and needed to be taken down and be replaced (which we still have yet to do). |
