what are you trying to do with this pictures on the DVDs.

Will you be playing them on your stand alone DVD player? Some newer DVD players do support JPEG files.

If you have Nero ,burn the .jpg files to a data dvd and they should play as a slideshow in your DVD player, if your dvd player supports it.. i dont have a dvd burner so i only burn to CD/RW, and it works fine.
i'm not sure if nero burns DVD, but thats what you need to do.

Well i woud like to transfer the files to the dvd disk so i'm able to watch them when i put the disk in a dvd player. My dvd player is about 1 or 2 years old i believe. Would making the file into a BMP file make a difference? Or just any picture file in general may not be supported?

Yes i have Nero.. I have a cd burner, but have never tried to burn onto a dvd. I'm not sure if i have the right cds even.. It's a FujiFilm Cd-R for Photo 700mb cd for storing pictures on.. I don't think this is the right cd to watch on a dvd though?? I'm going to try out what you said in Nero though. I believe i've tried that before and it failed but i will try again.. Thanks guys!

What a pain in the but!

You have a CD burner, or a DVD burner?, there is a difference, you cant make a dvd without a dvd burner.

Like i said you can make a CD/RW with .jpg files on it and some DVD players will read that. burn it to data format.

Yes i'm aware that there is a difference, i just know there is a certain extension that can be used to make it work.

I don't have a dvd burner, just a cd burner.

Which i'm going to try and put the files onto the Cd-R Photo cd and try that. It just wasn't working last time so... just gotta try it again.. that's why i thought i needed a certain extension to make it work.

Another thing to consider is if your DVD player even supports .JPG format, check this site.
