I figured I would post this in OT, because I don't know where else to... and OT gets the most traffic..

One of my family members has some parts lying around (mostly my old parts) and is going to bring them to a computer store and sell them.. How much do you guys think In CAD (Canadian Dollar) he should try and get for these parts.

I figured he could get more if he sold them on ebay or something but hes not really into selling things online lol.. its to complicated for him i think

If it's a GOOD, relatively new CRT, which I HOPE it is, then yeah, of course I would.

Ya its not even 6 months old... and for 4 of those months its been sitting in storage.

Working at a computer store, I'd say roughly $300 at the least, could get up to $400 or even $500 depending on the LCD. The AGP burns you because no one wants it anymore, it's either integrated or PCI-E. Honestly the only thing I'd be interested in is the board, the RAM, the video card, the tuner, and the LCD, perhaps the wireless card too. The CRT is relatively worthless, definitely wouldn't take that here.

Unless you absolutely need the cash, you would get a better deal if you traded that stuff in for some newer hardware...at least where I work anyways. I have no idea where you are located by if you're nearby I could definitely land a deal on new hardware for most of that stuff

Ya nobody wants CRT's anymore.. I doute it would be worth the effort to drag it there... lol..

I wonder how high we can blow it up into the air lol... and into how many peices..

yeah I was thinking you mentioned you were around the GTA or something but I guess that was way off. Too bad
