Ok i will admit this is a rant.. if u want to read the thread go for it but its useless. (its just the simple solution thread all over again)

The only thing is i am called a noob for saying that people need an anti virus and firewall.. and am told that IE is the most secure browser!

That guy is an idiot. Don't use virus protection? My firend got BB the other week and I helped him set it up. He had already bought Norton (I know) so I installed it BEFORE we connected for the first time. We went to the BT site and then to Google. Within 60 seconds Norton had come up and said it had blocked an attack. It wasn't anything serious but what if it had been? I wouldn't connect to the web without virus protection or a firewall. And I don't visit warez sites or the such. I use F-Secure and haven't had one virus/malware or whatever get through. The only malicous file I have ever had was through my own fault, I DL a file and it was infected so as soon as I opened it, it installed on my machine (think it was called spyfalcon).

The ENTIRE reason i went there and even spent 2 mins on my profile (read it its great in my opinion) was because i figured they were idiots and could use some actual help.. im not a great pro but i know what the **** i'm doing you know?
