Banning them does nothing, the bots register, post a few times and then register a new name.

Letting the spam happen is JUST AS BAD as the spam itself!

I guarantee you Mike could have it done in 30 minutes at the MOST.

I don't know if he's WILLING to, because NOTHING ever gets done around here.

All that happens is the swear filters get tightened, and the spam gets edited.

I'm sure there are plenty of qualified people on this forum who would help update the site, if given the chance wouldn't that be more prudent course of action for the devs. They obviously have lives and very busy or would have done something by now.

The final decision to upgrade is in the hands of the owner, not the mod team. And it is a monumental decision to make. TF will probably be down for a day or three when it does happen... and it will; the question is when.

i must say though, sit back and have a drink general. we hate spam too and we don't have the power to upgrade VB. you don't have to clean up the spam, so don't make us feel inadequate..........
