Like if i need some thing sorted out and it's a populare board, I might thread bump 24 hours, 48 hours and 96 hours after I orginally posted the message.
After that I give up and seek advise elsewhere.
However I do get annoyed with people that thread bump after about 5 minutes of orginally posting. I normally call that excessive bumping.
And then after that they procceed to rant about how their thread was not replied in a timely matter in the general forum.
I really love it when they are in some weird time zone or when they are posting at some ungodly time in the morning.

I am sort of hoping that some one might log on over the week end and tell me what I an doing wrong.
But I am not going to bump it every 5, 10, 15 minutes.
Personally, i hate thread necromancers. They go back to some thread that we don't want to see again, and they bring it up. But I guess that really depends on the subject. Like if it's useful to the poster and the community, then GREAT. But if it trivail and useful, I start thinking "Why???" Especially if there is some flame posts there.
