lol i was a n00b back then, btw i managed to just splice a cable from an old fan and connect them eventually.

is this normal for my configuration

I was also a noob. 40 seemed high to me.

That was mine.

Never did find out what the problem really was...but it doesn't happen to me anymore (that was on my older machine anyway tho, lol...never has happened to me on this one).

Go to your profile, click on "Find all threads started by user" then just go to the last page of the results.
