So whats new with computers?

I heard that ram will either be put on the hard drive or on the cpu in the future so we won't have to buy ram anymore.

That is awesome cause then people will probably have more money in there pockets and a better computer.

Solid state hard drives, which means super-fast access times. They already are coming out with 32GB notebook drives, so desktop drives won't be too far behind.

CPU/GPU on chip.

Lower power consumption, which means less heat.

Theres a 80GB or so USB Flashdrive out there for like $2500 if anyone wants to use that as a HDD, lol. Iono how, but Im sure theres a way.

But still limited by the interface (USB). eSATA would be better.

Just think of what the future will bring for data transfer rates...

Yea, because the one I saw is actually 64GB, not 80, and costs $2800.
