hmmmmm no i think cds are here to stay. at least until mp3 players totally take over

I wouldn't want to see anything new that's postage stamp sized. You'd be losing them all the time.

I think cds/dvds are fine now...hopefully they don't get replaced any time soon.

i think there comes a point when some things are TOO small. id loose that in a matter of minutes, especially since its clear.

... not so sure. If they were writable like a hard disk they would be very usefull indeed. Carry an entire OS and Apps and Files on something that fits in your wallet...

I think compact flash makes an 8gb card. Its about a $4000 card, but like you said, you could carry your whole OS on it.
