Anyone who has AT&T I need an answer. I have an ok cell phone but it was the free one you get when you sign up, so basically I want a new one.

The question is: Can I go into my local store and exchange my old FREE phone for a new FREE phone without changing any plans or service or re-signing up?

I don't think so... They charge you the regular price if you want a new phone. The only time they'll give you a free phone is if you're signing up for a new plan.

i think you can as long as the new cellphone has a slot for the card that is inside of your cellphone. you take the card out and just pu it in the new one.

I think Emily is right, they will charge you the normal price of the new phone. Although my dad exchanged his phone for a new free phone, he started swearing at the guy at the store and said that his phone absolutely sucks, and that he loses a signal everywhere he goes. It was true. He got 2 free phones for my mom and him. So if you want a free phone just loose your temper and go psycho on the guy.
