I need something 'epic'. Something with symphonic choirs and a very heavy emphasis on percussion and strings. Either leaning towards something with more modern digital instruments, or entirely classical instruments. I need something very obscure and non-cliche too. Something that people won't associate with an already existing movie or game. Something unique (maybe a creation of your own?) I'm filming a small movie project over the holidays and I'm looking for some music along these lines. I know there are a lot of metal fans on this forum, and as epic as some really good metal tracks can be, I want to avoid the sound of guitar as it's not quite the style I'm looking to achieve.

Here's a pretty decent example, but I find it's not really cut properly, and it's not really a 'complete' version of the piece, it's just a looping version (used in the Matrix DVD menu screen and the original cinema trailer)

Clubbed to death from the Matrix sound track comes to mind.
The classic O Fortuna is always a good bet.
And its epic but its not classical Through The Fire and Flames by Dragonforce is very epic, in fact anything they or a similar band has done is epic.
