Arrow Need some help figuring out something

Hi,

2 things!

1 I want to put my systems features in my sig but I dont know how to find out all that stuff like RAM and .... umm.. other computer stuff.

If you can tell me how to find this stuff, please tell me in a very detailed way. Step by step please.

2 When I do figure it out, I will post it, and please tell me how it compares to other peoples.

Thanks!

Goto Belarc.com and download and install the belarc advisor. It will give you a detailed look at your system including all hardware, software and OS information displayed as a local HTML page on your PC.

Add perhaps your motherboard info which if you used Belarc will be found under "main circuit board". Add anything else you'd like such as case, monitor, speakers etc.

As far as how your PC compares to others around here it varies. Some would say your PC out performs theirs while others would blow yours away. Likewise with mine, I love my setup while others might laugh at it. It really depends on what it is you want do or are currently using your PC for. Try not to get caught up in the "numbers" game. If you wish to change this or that for specific reasons then give detailed information as to what you want to use your PC for and many people will be more than happy to steer you in the right direction.

edit - btw, your sig size is way too big for this forum. Sig sizes are limited to no more then 2 images, totaling 468x120. See the forum guidelines for the rest of the sig rules etc. Also, you have to use the [img"]your image address["/img] minus the quotes for the pic to show up in your sig.

You can find hard drive by checking device manager and and memory manufacturer by opening your case and taking a look inside. It's not crucial, what zimon has suggested is sufficient.
