| my 1st off topic post...Transformers DVD off topic in the off topic forum anyway....i hope it applies, somewhat, lol
So I am a dork, and as a kid I used to work to buy my own transformers toys. Social Security has me offiically working since 11! hehe
Anywho...I bought the 1st Transformers the Movie DVD. Nothing special and kinda sucked...I think it was one of those first gen dvds. Just the movie...nothing else, lol.
Tonight, 11/10/06, I stopped by Best buy and saw the new remastered version.
You think it's worth it? Should I crack it open and just take the plunge? Extras and widescreen! It would be awesome to watch this on my 10ft home theater screen with great visual quality (assuming)...bringing back the memories baby!
Transformers were the greatest kids "thing"...better than GI Joe!
I am an Autobot...hmm, maybe a Dinobot...a little slow but well intentioned |

| Sorry, but my last house mate killed Transformers for me as he was talking transformers for Beakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
And this was for 3 years straight.
There is nothing more painful than watching a grown male play transformers on the carpet.
Like this guy is a transformers addict. We talking about a 30 year old guy that has been know to go on a rampage through toys'R'Us just because the Sydney Transformer's Armada Toy Shipment was late.

| bah, we all have grown ups who ***** the things we love as kids.
I bought my own transformers as a kid...but being 30something...I'm not going to. Only thing I would buy is a copy of the movie I saw as a kid!
Speaking of movies as a kid for those of us in the best age demo....hehe
Dark Crystal
Labyrinthe
Neverending Story
The Gate
The Explorers
Flight of the Navigator
list is endless!!! hehe....of course you'd have to be around 8-14 when these movies came out for the best impact. But never too late to enjoy them |
