Default Mouse Question.....

OK didnt no where to post this so i picked this forum

ok dont no what its called but on ur mouse u have the scroller thing in the middle of ur mouse....ok some times it just stops working...WHY?

it makes me so mad when i cant use it

dose anyone have a thing i can do to make it work again with out restarting my Pc?

What's your mouse? It could be possible that you may need to update your drivers or have a driver corruption problem. You might also want to check the mouse's buttons' settings to make sure the scroll wheel is configured correctly to its preferred function.

i have a logitech optical

ohh and sometime it wont work for like 5 min then it will start to work again

Very strange. Check logitech's website for driver updates. It's worth a try.

well i downloaded the driver for it

and it still works and i hope it keeps working
but i have noticed since i have downloaded it, it has made the scrolling faster and i like it

You're welcome. Post again if the problem persists. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to help you much farther besides saying play around with settings a bit. But hopefully that solved the problem.

i have had that same problem, with older MS mice.

Either reboot the PC, or click the scroll button, until you see the arrows.

sometimes on my work computer I have to unplug and then plug in the mouse to make it work...maybe worth a shot.
