Default Most BOGUS TRAFFIC TRICKS cops do to slow you down?!?!?

I thought this would be fuinny to start, so i'll talk about my town to kick things off,

in my town, the police dept. has two main aces up their sleeve when it comes to getting drivers canned for speeding:

1. a 90's era beige ford taurus that cops drive around in with radar guns so they could catch people off gaurd.

2. my towns police dept. also has about 4 to 8 of these white dodge vans that have been specially rigged with radar guns and hi-def cameras in them, so if someone is going 7 mph over the speed limit, it records your speed, takes a picture of your car, license plate, and the driver--front and back.
eg. i'm cruising down a highway, about 10mph over the limit. i drive over this hill and at the peak of the hill I look down and there is this white van parked on the side of the road with black windows. 2 weeks later, i get an envelope in the mail from the police dept. giving me a $150 ticket for speeding.

what nasty tricks does your local police dept. do?

Well, we have alot of bridges here (over the highways)...and they arent small things either. Well, the police hide up on the on ramps from the bridge with radar, you can't see them but the can see you. As soon as a speeder goes by...bang, they fly down the on ramp and get em.

Oh well, doesnt bother me, people don't drive very well here.

It's pretty crazy.

Ok, the speed limit changes from 100 to 80. So they set up cameras just behine the 100 sign, and snap slowing down....

Oh, we have those huge signs that measure your speed and show it on the board, and the whole dang sign FREAKS out when you go over the speed...it starts flashin and stuff...kinda embarrassing cuz everyone else can see it.

they like to hide on the on ramp. So you cant see them until it is too late, and lights and sirens are in your rear view.
