Default Money Question.

Would you rather earn $50,000 a year while other people make $25,000, or would you rather earn $100,000 a year while other people get $250,000?

cost of living varies by quite a bit depending on where you live

a single person can live quite easily in some places on 25k/yr while in others its poverty wages

Let's just say they both get by comfortably.

I guess if it were me I'd choose 100k per year. I really don't care if other people make more or look down on me for making less or whatever. Why should I care? Besides, I can do a lot with a hundred grand.

Exactly. Why should I care what other people make?

i'd go with 100k per year because as long as you dont care what otheres think you can slide by on 25k per year for your house payments and other bills and have the 75k left over to do what you please with. because you did say 25k would live you comfortably, but this is just my opinion.
