Default Media player on web sites....

Media player on web sites stopped working for me. If I go to a site which has a video hosted with media player, it says "ready" and I hit play, but it never plays. It happened randomly. I was watching some videos, stopped to play a game, came back to the videos later, and they didn't work. I didn't do anything to provoke it. What can I do to fix it?

open the website HTML source....
search for the extension of the media....
copy and paste the location of the media source into the browser....
see if it will allow you to download the media directly....

if it does not allow you to do that, that particular file/host is down for those files.... IF you does allow you to download/play the file something is wrong with your player.

Update Windows Media Player, or download new codecs.
