OT but why did kman get temp baned?
We can't discuss the cause. I only posted that it was a suspension so that people would know. The software does not distinguish between a suspension or a perm ban.

TI89 says n=2, long proof to come.

Excuse (Exponents)
My (Multiplication)
Dear (Division)
Aunt (Addition)
Sally (Subtraction)
Is it necessary that addition is before subtraction?
I mean in Algebra it is the exact thing.
5 - 3 is 5 + (-3)
We have learned them as :
Brackets/ Parenthesis
Exponents
Factorization
Restrictions
denominator elimination
multiplication/ Division
Addition/ Subtraction or Algebric SUM

Original eqn:
(cot2θ*csc2θ)/(tan²θ*sec2θ+sec2θ)

Factor out sec2θ in denominator:
(cot2θ*csc2θ)/(sec2θ(tan²θ+1))

tan²θ+1=sec²θ:
(cot2θ*csc2θ)/(sec2θ*sec²θ)

csc2θ/sec2θ=1/tan2θ & sec²θ in denominator is cos²θ in numerator:
(cot2θ*cos²θ)/tan2θ

cot2θ/tan2θ=cot²2θ:
cos²θ*cot²2θ=(cosθcot2θ)²

Simple.

you're right multiplication and division, addition and subtraction are interchangeable. they just teach this acronym as a simple way of memorising the order of operations.
