I'm using Mandrake a little lately, but i like all Linux distro's, just becuase it's not windows!!!

I'm a fan of Mandrake 9.1. It's the easiest to migrate from Windows too. The graphical install is nice and with KDE you have everything that Windows had.

And unless you've given Linux the same chances that you've given Windows, don't say you don't like it. Most people are just too lazy to learn how to use it.

Devilish you still have said why you don't like linux....

Its difficult to say what is the best distro as some are aimed for different purposes.

www.distowatch.com will tell you about most of the available distro's, their strengths, weaknesses and application.

I can suggest that you try out Knoppix which runs off a CD (no installation required). Maybe then you may appreciate the power of linux and go for a hard drive based linux.

Note that you can always use VMWARE to run windows inside of linux and vice versa !

or use Winex to run your windows aps in Linux. I run Trillian through there as well as most of my games.
