the moderators, admins and surely by now other members (myself included) are getting sick of the general attitude of forum members. we need to learn to be a little more tolerant of members, especially new members. too often newcomers are attacked for what they say, surely you all realise that they are just misguided? ease up a little, if you don't feel like answering questions or explaining things just don't post and leave it to someone else. no need for flamewars. please stop or i feel the admins may do something drastic that could effect us all. they've already had to change the rules for the off topic section that have remained unchanged in the history of the site until now

, i fear what may come next.

Just kidding, I agree. I try to be as helpful to noobs as possible. A huge percentage of people don't know much of anything about computers, and there's nothing wrong with being nice and helping them learn.

understood. the thing is though one flame deserves another. and as a result, for something that could have been rectified in one well thought out and written post we end up with a 3 page flamewar, a locked thread and some angry moderators. seriously guys i think its better to try and defuse the situation in one post rather than have to keep making rebuttals

kidding of course (or am i *shifty eyes*) But yea i meant to put that i agree in the other post. You gotta admit though some new ppl just come on here and flame for no reason like that one guy w/ the Intel Amd thing.
