Default Legal Music Downloads...

Ok guys, I really dont want to go to the store and bust my money on stupid CD's that have one or two good songs on them. So I wanted to LEGALLY download them off of the internet. New Napster, LimeWire, Rapshody bla bla bla are all good ideas but my parents dont wont their Credit Card # on an account somewhere. I want to do something like download music from a site that you buy a certain amount of songs for a certain amount of money, something like that. Those from Europe something like Virgin would be nice. I am in America and the most I can find is Wal-Mart music with a crappy selection... can anyone help me plz...

Get LimeWire.

The song downloads are free, but I believe the music industry has about stopped cracking down on people.

Trust me, man, they arent gonna pin-point you unless you have 2000+ songs downloaded.

Ive been downloading songs for 2-3 years, and I havent even been WARNED yet.

Go ahead, give LimeWire a try. You wont be disappointed! (or caught, GUARANTEED!)

just move to canada guys, its legal to share and download music - no joke. just a few months ago that law was passed, a study was taken and apparently the downloading of music has no effect on the sales of cds.

Apple Music Store. Ask your parents for an "Allowance Account". That might work. And YES, it DOES work with Windows. http://www.apple.com/itunes/store/

What study is this? I did not hear about this...and it most certainly doesn't sound very believable to me. Do you have any sources? Links? Author names? Proof?

And just because it is legal, does not mean it is morally correct. You are still stealing...and stealing is stealing, whether you can or can't do it.

One of the smartest moves they ever made ... not like Microsoft's decision to put internet explorer on a MAC ... lmao

what ForceFlow said is absolutely true, I don't have a link, but it's real, some loophole in our copyright law hehe (gotta love those lawyers)

iTunes is a good idea, but my parents are too worried about putting a credit card on an account... I just want to do a one time credit card enter and be done with. Basically I buy 30 songs for $30 and that gets me those 30 songs with out an account. As far as Canada goes, I find it hard to beleive that that is legal because I beleive it is illegal everywhere.
