Default IP, U-P, we all P together

So while the industry is chasing 12yo girls for getting BLUE's latest hit from bittorrent, massive organised crime syndicates are totally obliterating the CD market in other countries and making billions in profit for themselves. Who do you think the RIAA MPAA etc should be focusing on? The theory that 1 song downloaded is 1 sale lost is rubbish. Most of the downloaded tracks would never have been a sale originally because the person downloading them cant afford the CD, or doesn't want to waste £14.99 on a album for one song. However, 1 pirate CD bought buy a customer means they are willing to PAY for the music, just not the huge rates we are gouged by from the music industry. That, in a lot of cases does represent money lost, and money fed into organised crime.

Its about time they woke up and fought the real criminals and Gang boss', not aunt sally or little jennie smith.

I agree whole heartedly. I just listen to i-net radio cause I can't afford the cds and wouldn't want to for the one good song on it. I don't file sharing just cause I am a netadmin and getting caught with that **** either here or at home is grouds for dismissal. I like my job so no share aps are on either machine.

I don't think MP3 sharing is that big a deal, I like the idea like ipod and the connected site though. If you want just one song, you can buy just one song. They are cheap and everyone is happy

Default Don't mean to rain on your parade here, but....

Still, whether or not you are an invidual or company or some gangsta, breaking the copyright is laws is still a crime.

The RIAA is going after the wrong people

Recently they have started going off on DJ's, all music for US has to be expisally licensed for public listening, we cannot go out to a store and buy a CD to play it (in the states)

Simulare stuff down here where copyright was chasing shop front that either have a radio or cd playing for background music. (even hold music that is free to air radio)
