| That would be awesome. Probably a stupid question, but what about heat issues? Would the laser provide increased heat?

This sounds like a good future though. I find it hard to understand how easily it will be implemented into something like a laptop, or any other portable device. They would have to make a chassis that does not flex at all. Otherwise they would have problems with the lasers not hitting their targets. (or something to that effect  )
I don't think heat would be much of a problem though. With lasers, there's less mass used by wires and cords, etc. Without all that mass inside of a computer, theres alot more free space which means theres alot more breathing room.
Very interesting though.

| Sounds very interesting. However I would hate to see the RMAs on the motherboard due to some one dropping the motherboard and making the laser go out of alignment.
