Ever noticed how time slows down when you know you are about to eat it hard.

No offense, but you're stupid to race without a chest protector.

I bet once you have a chest protector save your arse you'll have a different look on things.

Agreed. Think of crashing, and having your bike run over your back. With a chest protector, the most damage that can be done is having that much weight on your back. Without one, you'll have that weight on you, and possibly the pegs scraping into you <-- That hurts like a *****.

Plus, if you go to a track that is full of rocks, you better hope you are in first place - If you're not, all the roost from other bikes shooting up rocks does not feel good.

Moral of the story: Choose a different thread title. Some people might take it literally.

And people are stupid for not wearing a seatbelt. We all have are preferences when we ride. Some people have never owned one. I dont really like to wear it cause it doesnt cool good enough for me. By the way i wasnt racing:happy:

Gald to hear you are ok.... When I started reading, I was expecting to read " I crashed, and when I got up, I was laying in a fresh pile from someone's dog" or something... lol....

Anyways, glad to see your ok. Nothing like an experience like that to show you how lucky you are... I was in a van that rolled @ 75mph on the highway when I was about 12.... we had seatbelts on, all 4 of us walked away. Details on that is for another thread.... will have to find the pics of the van first..
