How to torrent

Ok, I finally i want to start downloading torrents. i know how to get the certain torrents but i dont know how to actually start downloading them. do i need some sort of torrent downloader or something? thanks.

and i tried utorrent but its been up for an hour and i still have 0.0% on both my downloads, whats up?

For fast download speeds you need to have a firewall and router that does no block the ports utorrnet needs.
The torrents also need to have many seeders for fast speeds.
if you choose torrents with little or no seeds it won't download fast, if at all.

Just remember to upload at least as much as you download.

If you new to BT, then I recommend that you use Azureus as your client. http://azureus.sourceforge.net/

It's not that we do not want to help you. It's just that there is too much to explain.

In a nutshell.
Find a Bit Torrent Tracker site
Search for what ever you are looking for.
Once found, make sure it has SEEDS. If SEEDS = 0, then you are going to have problem downloading.
Download your torrent file.
Open torrent file in Bit Torrent Application
And then start downloading.

BTW, remember to share. For every Mb that you download, make sure you upload the same. Otherwise the bit torrent site might black list your IP Addresss.

Please note that you might need to sign up for a membership at some Bit Torrent sites.
