I do it weekly. Probably too often, but if the 'rents see that it's dusty, they freak.

The ammount of dust and when you have to clean it depends on how much dust you have in your computer room, so if your comp room is clean there's not much need to clean it as often. I personally don't check it to see if it's dirty or not, whenever I have to open my case (for any reason) and I see that it's dirty then I try to clean it.

It's been about 9 months now, and my computer could use a good dusting. Of course, when I dust my computer I strip it down to nothing, clean everything up, and then put it all back together....everytime I do it, the wiring job gets neater and neater.

mainly when I get new hardware which isnt often....I'll go in to put the new hardware in and realize that the case is dusty as ****. Dust builds up in my heatercore pretty badly. Just dusted it last week....filled the room with dust, had allergies that whole freakin day.
