Default How much should i charge?

Hey guys, my dad brought home one of his co-workers laptops (Dell Inspiron 1000) and it wont power on at all...dead...so i spent about two hours searching the internet and looking at the componets and deduced that it's a dead mobo...well anyway here is my delima..i don't know how much to charge this dude..i was thinking about $100 for looking at it and replacing the motherboard (which is a pain cause it's a laptop) does this seem fair? keep in mind that i'm not a professional, but i do know what i'm doing.

Btw...if you know how to get past a bios password when there is not reset cmos jumper...that would be great..cause i can get a mobo about $100 less then!

Reset the CMOS by unplugging the battery.

Replacing the MOBO on a laptop wouldn't be too difficult. Not as easy as a desktop though. I could probably get it done in about an hour or less.

I would charge 75.
