Default how do you hook up this cable?

http://www.compupack.com/photo/hdtv.jpg

I have that cable without the s-video thing. I have the blue wire, green wire, red wire, and the other one but its not s-video. Now I want to know what wires connect to the green, blue, and red? I have a 53" big screen tv in my room and I want my computer hooked up to it. I have an s-video cable to s-video cable but its not long enough. I don't want to buy an extender for the s-video cable.

Component video - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Its called component video. Each line has a single color data stream. The other end goes on the video card. The three others goes to the TV. Your TV much have a component video input, not just a single yellow one (old).

not sure. never mind. I rigged up an s-video cable extender thing to go from my computer to the tv. How do i use that as a secondary monitor? I found in the settings on my computer I can make it the primary monitor but not the secondary monitor.
