i went fishing last night on Lake Lanier in GA, and i was doin some night fishing for stripers on live bait (blue back herring) and i caught this 14.5lb striper bass at 2:30am!...it was massive as you can see from the picture...took about 20 minutes to land on 16lb test line with a 20lb leader....was a mother to get in!





and here i am fighting it...and that wasn't when it was running...man i had to work that drag!

thats not legal size, is it? looks wayyyy to small. Not that Im trying to diminish your accomplishment. Last time I went fishing all I caught was a cold. LOL!!!!!!!! I kill myself.

actually that could be legal I guess, it's a nice fish. Here in Jersey Im used to seeing pictures of 50 plus pounders.

it is legal, you are allowed two fish over 22" and i turned him back...already got a freezer full of fish..(costs $11 an inch to mount..and it was 37.5 inches long...go figure )

That thing is bigger than my face! For a 14 pound fish that thing looks ginormous (sp? if it's even a word..)

As much as i dislike fish, that is a big fish and a good catch

in Jersey I think the limit is 28 inches.
