I too get a few kid coming around asking for treats.
I purchase a bag of Minties or Fantales just incase I get some knocking at my door. After all, the are just kids wanting some fun.
You are right about people saying "What the **** you going on about?" as I only did Trick or Treat down here once. I dressed up as Dr. Ock. My and my freinds as a lot of strange looks.
It also does not help that Day Light Savings Ends, and it about 8-9pm before it dark.
And face it, tricker treating in broad day light and with summer just around the corner is not the same.
My previous housemate use to belittle any kid that came knocking at the door because it's a American Holiday. (And he's poster boy for Anti-Americism) I find this insulting and almost racist.
So I normally remind him about him and Chinese New Year and Moon Cake Festival and why does he celibrate it since he's in Australia.
Anyways, I am going to be celibrating Holloween this year at a LAN party. Multi Player FEAR. Woo Hoo!!!
