| Re: Got an Interview! Advice wanted. Chick-Fil-A runs a clean ship. Be on good behavior, dress clean. Be honest in your answers but let them know that you are a good worker and are willing to work. Chick-Fil-A also has college tuition programs so you may want to ask about them as it would show that you have a vested interest and would be willing to stay through college. |

| Re: Got an Interview! Advice wanted. Be prepared for weird questions. I met a guy once who asks at a random point during an interview if you pee in the shower.
His point behind asking it is to see how people respond to extremely personal, yet oddly hilarious question. He's had people who laugh hysterically at it for the next 10 minutes (bad) and people who pose an odd look, chuckle a little bit, and ask politely "How is that relevant to this conversation?" (best answer ever).
Also - don't be an idiot when you come and go. I met a different person who runs his business and he has his office right by the parking lot, so he watches candidates come and go. He said you'd be surprised how quick some people literally shred their polo shirt and dress pants off in the parking lot. And also, if you think you landed the interview with a slam dunk, refrain from doing any burnouts until you're miles away.
No gum.
Don't even bother taking your cell phone in - even it being on vibrate can be distracting and in some interviews I've had, is still easily heard just by vibrating.
Listen to a happy song before you go in to the interview. My personal favorite is Jack Johnson's "Banana Pancakes." It's a song that puts you in a bouncy mood and I've found it always calms my nerves since I can often freak out before interviews.
Besides that, be yourself.

| Re: Got an Interview! Advice wanted. Have confidence. Know that you can do whatever they want you to do and show them that.
Research a little about the company before you go in and ask questions about the company. This shows them that you are interested in what they have to offer.
Speak clearly.
The other advice given here is also excellent advice.

Good luck

| Re: Got an Interview! Advice wanted. I only got asked 1 IT related question in my job. I got the basic "what do you like to do in your spare time" BS, but when it came down to the "testing what I know" hizzy, they asked me one question.
"If I gave you an IP address, could you give me the class?"
"Sure."
"Let's say, 10.52.---- (I interrupted)"
"Class A - Private."
K, we'll call you.

yeah its just chick-fil-a....not very much to ask since no skills are required.
The next interview would most likely also be a basic orientation, and they would go over salary, benefits (may not apply to you since youre under 18) scheduling and uniform policy.
I would imagine $7.50 as a good estimate on what you would earn, maybe a bit more.

K, we'll call you. | Normally not a good idea to interupt the employeer at a job interview. Even if it's the correct answer.
