Ok my friend had gotten a computer with a amd 3200 skt 939 like 2 weeks after they came out so its a week 1 or 2 cpu. My friend wants $150 for it and usually I would say thats a sucky deal but if I could oc it over 3ghz (possible?) would it be worth it?

He selling the CPU or the entire PC? Cuz if he's just selling the CPU it's not worth 150 and if he's selling the entire PC we need to see more info, such as RAM, Video Card, Hard Drive(s), CD or DVD reader/writer, MOBO and PSU.

just cpu I could get him to go less but hes going to need a replacement cpu like a x2 3800 and its $150. I think thats why he wants that amount.

You have to forget its a week two and is supposivly a 4000 underclock and will oc way higher than that 3200.

I've never heard that, you might wanna verify that it's true before you go ahead and spend $150 on it. For about 45 more you could get a dual core CPU.

No I know its true I remember talking about it numorous times when I first got onboard this website but I doubt I will buy it for 150, maybe 125.

do NOT pay that for that processor... that is my processor. It is NOT worth 150. I think thats what I paid for it brand new.

I paid 130 for my 3200 when they qwere still on socket 754 and 940. Don't do it.
