i tried everything.....

using firefox
using IE
using another computer
using a proxy
restarted my computer

the only thing i can think of that happened today is that firefox was updated automatically today on my computer and the other computer and it must of screwed something up.. But that still does not explain the fact that it would not work on IE....

And I doubt that someone "hacked" into my computer.. Since i am running xp sp2, with all of the latest patches. And I have updated antivirus running.. But nevertheless I was seriously thinking that I was hacked, so I unplugged the CAT5 and did a system scan.. it was only after that and ANOTHER system restart did things work properly again.
