hmmm,. lemme think, how has uit changed my life:

1: allowed me to research ANYTHNIG a lot easier
2: introduced me to new people and cultures
3: allow me to play my favorite games with people all around the world
4: showed me how people can be real ***'s by hacking into your computer and destrying it
5: opened up way more ways to comunicate
i never get offline, if i want to talk to someone about something, or see if anyone is going out tonight, i hope on the net and ask em via msn or icq

disadvantage - people scammingggggggg!

Its helped the dumbing of America by providing kids with any info they need or reports they can copy off the net. Its also a good resource if your not a little copycat though. It makes people to scared of what kind of people are out there behind the screen-names and email addresses...who needs a library anymore? etc etc.

anyone can survive without the internet, the internet is just a way of broadcasting information.

It helped me in life by making me pay less for software, well pay nothing
