i'm getting popups from internet explorer

i haven't been P2P'ing for a while and i have pop-ups blocked for IE (popups dont come from my firefox)

i've ran ad-adware and spybot S'n'D

so now what?

I have found that that works for me too...

But, if you don't think that will work for you then just use your FireFox and throw your IE out the window.

Are you getting popups only IE is open, or do you also get IE popups when the program isn't even running?

IE is never open, i don't even use it!

but wierd thing is that when i start my computer, it says that IE is open under "application" in task manager

I get IE popups sometimes too while using Firefox. It depends on what sites you go to.
