One of the helpdesk techs asked me to help her today. She brought in her personal laptop hard drive and asked me to help her recover the data off of it because its her whole life. We spent about an hour playin with jumpers n stuff, was a really weird setup..i finally got bios to see it. So i instant messenged her and told her that i got bios to see it.... she came running in all happy and smiling, she was like hmm ok cool, but you are sure its spinning? i was like,,, bios sees it, yes it is. She her stupid self decided to see for herself by touching the drive......... It has been very dry in here lately, and she was just running down the hallway on the carpet. she touched it and it shocked her so bad that she threw herself on the ground and started crying....her HD didnt work anymore. so i told her, well, it dont matter if it was spinning or not
